2021 at Snow Peak USA was not without its share of challenges, but it also offered a number of highlights – from restaurant openings to new ventures and exciting partnerships. As we reflect on the successes from the year, it's essential to express our gratitude to the community that makes Snow Peak the brand it is.
Takibi Restaurant Opening
In May, Snow Peak opened its first restaurant in the United States. Located at HQ4, our North American Headquarters, Takibi brings Snow Peak's outdoor values into the dining room, giving friends a gathering place to reconnect and appreciate the changing nature of the seasons through a produce-driven menu by Submarine Hospitality.
At Home Campout
This year's At Home Campout was full of fun – from contests to recipes and special releases. Snow Peakers across the globe came together to slow down, unplug and kick off the start of camping season.
Entry Line in Ivory
This new addition to Snow Peak's existing line of tents merges style and functionality, with options for every kind of camper. In addition, each of the tents and tarps offers three-season reliability in Snow Peak's iconic ivory colorway. The Entry Line in Ivory was the first US-exclusive product line and included the Alpha Breeze, our first tent designed specifically for the North American camper.
Snow Peak Campfield Long Beach
Opening in 2023, Snow Peak's first campfield in the United States will be nestled on 25 wooded acres on Washington's scenic Long Beach Peninsula. The Long Beach Campfield will be the fullest expression of our brand, offering guests the chance to experience Snow Peak's approach to camping and reconnect to the rhythms of nature.
Rivian Partnership
After much planning and anticipation, we were proud to announce our partnership with Rivian, maker of electric adventure vehicles. Purchasers of Rivian's R1T electric truck can choose to add the innovative Camp Kitchen, designed to make cooking outdoors simple and fun. The Camp Kitchen features the 30-piece Snow Peak Kitchen Set, a curated selection of Snow Peak's cookware and tableware.
Snow Peak Way
After a hiatus in 2020, Snow Peak Way was back this year! In early October, more than 200 Snow Peak customers and staff gathered in Tygh Valley, Oregon, for a weekend of camping. It was a privilege to share several days in nature with our community. We're already counting down the days until Snow Peak Way 2022.
