Snow Peak Brooklyn
The Brooklyn store will be hosting a series of events in July to build community with our local customers, leading up to our biggest event of the season: the first Snow Peak Way East campout at Callisto Farms in High Falls. It’s been a busy few months at Snow Peak Brooklyn, with the first Starter Camp event and recent partnerships with Walden and BeTime Practice, Patagonia, Aerthship, and Pierce Abernathy.
Pierce Abernathy Spring Food Tour Recap
Snow Peak Brooklyn and Aerthship partnered together to support a leg of Pierce Abernathy's Spring Food Tour, where the chef and influencer brought his foodie followers to our Snow Peak Brooklyn patio space and cooked and served delicious, farm-fresh food for the community. We also featured our first artist exhibition with Taiji Kuroda, showcasing his highly detailed Sakura drawings that brought a creative community into our space and inspired visitors to reflect on the beauty of nature.
Snow Peak Brooklyn x Kumanokoido Teddy Bear Exhibition, July 8th
We are excited to partner again with Junichi Nakane of Kumanokoido to showcase handmade teddy bears made from upcycled Snow Peak fabrics. The bespoke teddy bears represent worldwide friendship, with sales and proceeds support water access in Bamako, Mali. Most recently, Jun used proceeds to purchase a bus that offers free transport for the village people to the local well.
Cabi Foods Pop-Up Event with Snow Peak IGT, July 15th
We'll be hosting Cabi Foods for a pop-up cooking event at Snow Peak Brooklyn. Cabi Foods makes easy-to-use Japanese sauces with delicious flavors like Yuzu Vinaigrette, Zesty Peppercorn Miso, and Umami Dashi Soy Sauce.
Snow Peak Way East Coast, July 28th – 30th
We’re thrilled to bring Snow Peak Way to New York for our East Coast Snow Peakers. It will be a weekend full of camping activities, good meals, relaxing nature, and, of course, Takibi Time. Please note that this event is sold out, but you can still join the waitlist for any tickets that become available.
Snow Peak Portland
Summer weather has arrived in Portland, and we’re excited to welcome our community into our Flagship space. We kicked off the camping season with the first Starter Camp event, and we have several fun activities on the calendar for the remainder of the summer.
Starter Camp Recap
In May, Snow Peak Portland hosted its first Starter Camp event. During the campout, attendees learned essential skills and information to build confidence in camping on their own. We gathered in Rainer, Oregon, with a group of new Snow Peakers for a weekend of camping, workshops, and Takibi Time. We're looking forward to hosting our next Starter Camp event this upcoming October.
